In 2016, two of the Young medical scientists became the Laureates of our Foundation: ELENA CHERNOMAZOVA and JARKYN OTKEYEVA.
When the jury summed up the contest of young scientists of Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) 2016, and announced the winner in 2016, we decided to give Foundation Award to one more participant – ELENA CHERNOMAZOVA, the clinical resident of the Department of anesthesiology and intensive care KSMA. In fact Elena has participated several times the contest of Young scientists in the Science Days of KSMA, and took first place in her section with a report on resuscitation. I must say that Elena did a research report in the Kyrgyz, which is not her native language, but which she mastered at a level that allows a young scientist and specialist to speak at the scientific forum.
Here is what Elena’s colleagues from the Emergency Care “Bishkek ambulance” say about her:
“Lena Chernomazova is the pride of our ambulance, a doctor in spirit and vocation, she graduated from the Academy with honors, during the years of study she worked as a nurse in the intensive care unit of neurosurgery, knows firsthand the hard work of resuscitation.
Now Lena is doing her residency at the Department of resuscitation and intensive care of KSMA, the days and nights spending in the intensive care units of the city, developing the professional skills of critical care anesthesiologist. Fluent in Kyrgyz and English, she is actively involved in scientific activities in the Academy.
As of now Elena works as a medical assistant in our ambulance, but her charisma and professionalism make her the soul of the team. It is very comfortable to work with her and fun to relax with her!”
When the Director of the Foundation announced award of 10 day cultural and educational trip to Moscow going to Elena, not only Elena expressed the joy, but the entire audience of the final session of the Days of science. It turned out that Elena is a very valued and respected person by colleagues, they are happy for her achievements.
And so it happened that Elena was in this journey along with the main winner of 2016 Jarkyn Otkeyeva, the 4th year student of KSMA.
Elena has experience of public speaking in Russian and Kyrgyz languages; she was hosting a news program on television (KTRK channel) without giving up her studies at the residency and work in the emergency care. On behalf of the Foundation I offered Elena to become the host of the contest “THE FIRST TEACHER” 2015 and 2016 as a volunteer. Elena agreed, which made me very happy, and no wonder: Elena perfectly coped with the task, and I am very grateful to her for the job done!
