Our Foundation published a book of selected works of the poet and playwright Jusup Turusbekov. The publication is timed to the 100th anniversary of the tragic events in Turkestan in 1916. They were the subject of one of the most famous works of Jusup – drama “AJAL ORDUNA” – “INSTEAD OF DEATH”.
The edition includes two poems: “the tradegy of the robber”, written and sent from the War Theater (2nd World War) and “MY MOTHER” which is in the school program. Selected poems, some of which have become popular songs, complete the collection.
