The international festival “Oimo”was held in Bishkek on 27.07.2018. More than 150 artisans from Kyrgyzstan and foreign countries presented their products. The purpose of the festival – the development of folk crafts, preservation of cultural heritage.
Public Foundation “Kiyiz Duyno” (”The World of Felt”) organized a flash mob ” Elechek” (the name of the national women’s headdress), during the flash mob elechek was wrapped on the head of 100 women. Wrapping an elechek around one’s head is an art.
